Company History

Coghill and Beery International (CBI) was founded in 1992 with the mission to enable organizations and individuals to develop cross-cultural competencies for global competitive advantage. CBI was one of the first companies to apply cross-cultural research and theory to the practical problems facing businesses on a day-to-day basis. CBI is based in the UK with associates on every continent.

CBI offers a number of customised training programmes which enable people living and working with other cultures, to have the awareness, knowledge and skills for success. CBI solutions lead to measurably improved business outcomes.

Training programmes are based on research from Coghill dissertation & studies, coping with stress studies, and transition literature and studies as well as other well-known researchers: Hofstede, Hampton-Turner, and E&M Hall.

Today, CBI’s training, coaching and consulting programmes are a blend of leadership development and cultural competencies which reflects the global environment in which our clients operate. Through internally investing in education and training, Coghill and Beery is able to provide the best, most relevant training to our clients. We aim to identify and develop our clients’ internal capabilities so that they are able to build upon these and operate competitively in today’s rapidly evolving global market.
