Carey Cox Coghill is a co-founder of Coghill & Beery International in 1992. As a lead consultant and trainer, Carey was the driving force behind the initial research, design and development of the company’s intercultural consulting and training programmes. She has recently held the post of Assistant Professor of the Msc Degree Program in Human Resources, Western Carolina University where she taught on-site and on-line courses in international management, performance assessment, coaching and mentoring, research methods and global leadership. Prior to founding Coghill & Beery, she consulted in the US and the UK for Kaset International. Carey has also managed Performance and Total Quality as the Human Resource Development Specialist for Georgia (state) Division of Rehabilitation Services.

Carey is a long-time member of The Academy of Human Resource Development (AHRD) and the American Society for Training and Development (ASTD). Her publications include: Cross-Cultural Transition: A Case Study of Cultural Conflict Incidents and numerous articles.

Carey holds a Ph.D in Human Resource Development with a major in Management, an MS in Professional Counseling, and a BA in Psychology.  Carey lived and worked in London and Brussels before returning to Atlanta, where she has returned to management and training in the Georgia State Rehabilitation Services. She continues to advise Coghill & Beery on strategy.
